Navy's Sea Harrier crashes into sea, one missing

Panaji, Apr 5 (UNI) A Sea Harrier on a training mission crashed into the Arabian Sea, near Grandi Island, five miles from Goa.

Commodore R S S Subramanian told UNI that the two-seater aircraft, with Commander Vikram Menon and Lt Commander S Tiwari, was on the training mission. The mishap occurred at around 0851 hrs.

Commander Menon was rescued, while Lt Commander Tiwari is missing, the search operation is on, he added.
