NAIP to develop different fields in agriculture

Agartala, Apr 05 (UNI) The National Agricultural Innovasion Project (NAIP) has been introduced in Tripura for the development of various aspects of agriculture, official sources said today.

Sources said two clusters namely Marachara and Balaram under Salema and Ambassa blocks in Dhalai district had been identified for this new project.

The NAIP was jointly introduced by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and Dhalai District Council and an MoU was signed between them.

The five-year-long scheme would help the farmers use new technologies to increase agro-production, processing and marketing.
