Murder accused arrested

Satna, MP, Apr 5 (UNI) Two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a youth at Dhobhat village in this district, police said today.

Labourer Rajesh Kushwaha (23) had gone out in search of employment in evening on April 1 but did not return home.

His corpse was found in a well outside the village next morning. Well owner Ramkumar Kushwaha, who spotted the body, informed villagers and police.

During investigation, police found that Rajesh was last seen with Prakash Kushwaha and Brajesh Kushwaha.

During interrogation, the duo confessed to stabbing Rajesh to death due to bitter enmity between them.

The blood-stained sharp weapon, which was used in committing the murder, had been seized.

Prakash and Brajesh were yesterday produced before the court, which sent them to judicial custody.
