Labourer killed, 4 wounded in accidents in Kashmir
Srinagar, Apr 5 (UNI) A labourer died while four people, including a CRPF personnel, were wounded in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley during the past 24 hours, police said.
A labourer, Abdul Rashid Shah, was critically wounded after being hit by a stone at a quarry.
Shah was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
Police have taken cognizance and initiated proceedings in the case.
Police said a Tata Sumo hit and wounded a girl on the Srinagar- Jammu national highway at Lawaypora. The driver fled from the spot.
A motor-cyclist hit and injured Abdul Rehman Dar at Barzulla.
A Maruti Van wounded a CRPF constable, Vijay Kumar Chouhan, near Shergari police station. He has been hospitalised.
A tipper hit and wounded a motorcyclist, Rouf Ahmed Hakeem, near Mir Bazaar.
