Koda blasts oppn saying audit would be conducted
Ranchi, Apr 5 (UNI) Armed with the UPA candidate's victory in the recent by-election to Palamu Lok Sabha seat, Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today hit out at the opposition criticism of his governance saying a social audit would be conducted to see whether the funds were properely utilised.
Amid the opposition NDA's hullabaloo decrying the six-month-old government on several policy decisions, Mr Koda asserted that the results in Palamu negated such allegation.
The Chief Minister said his government would come again to power because of its performance adding that social audit would reveal whether money meant for people was reaching them.
Earlier, replying to a resolution, Mr Koda said the government was also concerned about the inter-state connecting higways and a decision had been taken on the issue.
