Husband convicted to lifer for murdering his wife

Hubli, Apr 5: First Additional Sessions Court here, has convicted to Life Imprisonment a person for murdering his wife for failing to bring dowry.

The Judge has also slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 to Raviraj Karmari yesterday.

According to prosecution, Raviraj Karamari of Hubli, who married Kanchana on March 14, 2003, murdered her on June 17, 2006 by strangulating her neck and then setting her ablaze after pouring kerosene.
