Gowda calls for new programmes to revive JD(S)

Bangalore, Apr 5 (UNI) Former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) President H D Deve Gowda today stressed the need to chalk out new programmes to revive the party.

Addressing a party function here, he said he would hold a meeting of party leaders and district presidents, followed by Ministers, in the city on April 11 to enlist their opinion. He would then tour the entire State from April 15 to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.

Mr Gowda was speaking at a function, got up to admit 22 Congress leaders from Bagalkot district into the party fold.
