Jaipur, Apr 5 (UNI) Mahatma Gandhi will once again be in focus with a three-day international conference on the legendary leader beginning here tomorrow.

The conference is being held at a time when 'Gandhigiri' is in vogue with Bollywood film 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' showing the way.

Titled 'Gandhi is back' Gandhian Theory of Nonviolent Conflict Resolution, the conference is being organised by the Kota Open University and will attract hundreds of Gandhian scholars and delegates from different parts of the world.

The University had earlier announced a 6-month course on 'Gandhigiri'. At least 110 students including policemen had already enrolled in the course, informed Naresh Dadhich, Vice-Chancellor of Kota Open University here today.

Dr Shall Sinha, a Gandhian scholar based in Canada will also be part of the conference. The unique thing about Dr Sinha is that he dresses like Gandhi and resembles him. During his presentations, he presents solutions to contemporary problems in the way Gandhiji would have if he were alive. Dr Sinha's presentations attract huge audiences in North America and people spend as much as 40 dollars to listen to his lectures.

Prof B S Mohite, a professor in Kolhapur University in Maharastra, who has more than 50 hours of audio casettes on Gandhi, video casettes and six hours of documentery on Gandhiji, will showcase his findings and docu at the meet.

Mr Dadhich said the aim behind the meet is to practise 'Gandhigiri' by preaching non-violence in everyday life.
