Dry weather prevail in the State

Bangalore, Apr 5 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations reocrded in weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Dry weather prevailed over the State.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at most places being appreciably so at many places over Interior Karnataka and above normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka.

Raichur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 42 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Saturday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather may prevail over South Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Belgaum, Gadag and Dharwad districts and mainly dry weather may prevail over all the remaining districts of the State.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. Maximum temperature would be around 36 degree celsius.
