Centre releases Rs 40 crore under PMGSY

Agartala, Apr 05 (UNI) The Union Rural Development Ministry has released Rs 40 crore to Tripura under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY), according to official release here today.

The fund was released as grants-in-aid for a value of Rs 18 crore as balance payment of the first installment for phase four and Rs 21.20 crore as part payment of second installment for phase four under the PMGSY to the Tripura Rural Road Development Agency (TRRDA).

The PMGSY aims to provide all weather basic access to about 1.27 lakh habitations in the state.
