BJP welcomes Allahabad HC decision on Muslims

New Delhi, Apr 05 (UNI) The BJP today welcomed the ruling of the Allahabad High Court ruling declaring that the Muslims have ceased to be a religious minority community in Uttar Pradesh BJP Parliamentary Party Spokesman Vijay Kumar Malhotra said the order of the single judge bench was an 'indictment' of the entire spectrum of UPA parties which vied with one another with their appeasement policies for political gains undermining the cardinal principle that every citizen was equal. "They are dividing the society vertically for selfish gains undermining the Constitution", He remarked.

Mr Malhotra said BJP always advocated the policy of 'appeasement for none and justice for all' and was very happy that the High Court had vindicated the stand taken by his party. A large population of 18 per cent can't corner the benefits given to microscopic minorities like Parsi and Jain communities in the garb of minority, he said.
