Cong, SP, BSP are private cos: Rajnath Singh

Ferozabad, Apr 4: BJP president and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Rajnath Singh has termed the ruling Samajwadi Party, BSP and Congress as ''private companies.'' ''The three parties are allies and are furthering Congress' policies...In run up to the UP assembly poll, these outfits are making charges against each other for vested interests,'' he said addressing an election meeting here.

Mr Singh admitted that to propogate a equity-based society, BJP extended support to Mayawati three times in the past, which had proved a failure and the ''experiment'' would not be repeated.

Assailing Congress for inflation, he said the poors were being pushed to the corner. ''The earlier BJP-led NDA government at the centre had kept prices under control.'' Mr Singh reminded the electorate that BSP chief Mayawati and CM Mulayam Singh Yadav were facing CBI probes and could be jailed anytime.

''BJP CM designate Kalyan Singh has proved to be the most efficient CM. He has a clean image and a strong contender to the post,'' he added.
