Businessman arrested with live cartridges

Kolkata, Apr 4: Six live cartridges along with a magazine were seized from a person at NSCBI airport today.

Police said 35-year-old Sanjay Palsaria, a businessman from Jamshedpur, was arrested during security check.

Palsaria was supposed to fly to Mumbai this morning, police added.

A case under the Arms Act has been registered against him.

Despite several rounds of interrogation, Palsaria has not revealed much, police said.

He would be produced in the Barrackpore court later today.
