Airtel announces 'Booster packs' for TN customers

Chennai, Apr 4: Leading mobile service procider Airtel today announced the all new 'booster packs' for its prepaid customers in Chennai and Tamil Nadu.

This Airtel Booster pack has been developed keeping in mind the need of specific segments like Executives and students whose usage was high though budgets were limited.

Announcing the launch of the Booster pack here, Airtel COO Mahesh Thampi, COO, Mobile Services Chennai and Tamil Nadu, Bharti Airtel Limited said "this latest offering provides unlimited opportunities in a limited budget to our ever-increasing customer base.

"Airtel Booster pack has a host of features, which are exclusive and economical to its customers," he said adding "the tariff is designed to offer maximum savings to customers and also fits into all budgets.

"The customer, who opts for Rs 97 recharge can make calls to any Airtel mobile in Tamil Nadu for ten paise," he said.

He also added that there was also an International Booster Recharge for Rs 79 through which the customers can call America, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand for just Rs five which will have a validity of 30 days.

"The Landline Power Booster Pack tariff will be available for a period of 30 days after which the customer would be migrated into his old plan and he needs to recharge with a specific Booster once again to continue with this tariff plan," he said.
