World Cow Conference in Shimoga from April 21
Bangalore, Apr 3: The Ramachandrapura mutt has organised a nine-day World Cow Conference to create awareness and start a national movement about cow and its importance in agriculture from April 21.
Raghaveshwarabharati Swamy of the mutt told reporters here today that the biggest-ever Sammelan, to be held at Hosanagar in Shimoga district, would bring together cattle lovers, scientists, experts, cowherds, agriculturists, leaders, saints and seers from across the world.
The participants would discuss issues regarding the importance of animal husbandry and agriculture, he said.
A seminar on themes related to cattle, lectures by experts on cow products, presentation of research reports, besides a unique exhibition of rare Indian breed of cows would form a part of the world meet, he said.
