Malappuram, Apr 3: The opposition United Democratic Front(UDF) in Kerala has decided to go on an agitation seeking the resignation of two senior ministers involved in separate court cases in the state.

The detailed agitational programme would be chalked out at a meeting of the UDF at Thiruvananthapuram on April 11, their top leaders, who met at the residence of IUML leader Paanakkad Sayed Muhammadali Shihab Thangal, last night said.

The Kerala High Court on Monday had directed Local Self Governance Minister Paloli Muhammed Kutty to tender an unconditional apology to the public for his recent remarks at a public function that ''courts deliver judgements based on the weight of currency bundles.'' Electricity Minister A K Balan was sentenced to two years imprisonment by a court in Palakkad district for leading a Rail Roko agitation.
