Strong earth quake hits Pak, tremors in Delhi and JK

Bangalore, April 03: Strong earthquake rocked Pakistan and its capital Islamabad today morning. Tremors were also felt in Musafirpur and Peshawar. Mild tremors also felt in Jammu, Srinagar and Delhi.

Quake hit Pakistan at around 9.05(IST) in the morning. Quake measuring 5.9 hit Jammu, Srinagar and Delhi. No loss of life and property is reported. Power supply is disrupted in some parts of Srinagar.Tremor lasted for 5 to 6 seconds in Srinagar.

The epicentric area of quake is Hindukush near Afganistan. Earth quake with magnitude of 6.2 was felt in Afganistan.
