Pillion rider killed in accident

Anand, Apr 3 (UNI) A pillion rider on a scooter was killed and the scooterist injured today when the vihicle collided with a Hero Puch moped in Vasad police limits, near here.

Police said the pillion rider, identified as Rameshbhai, died on the spot while the scooter rider Manojbhai Manubhai Patel suffered fracture in his right leg. Manojbhai was on his way to Vadodara from Sarsa when the accident took place.

The Hero Puch rider made good his escape. The vehicle has been seized.
