No holiday for central government offices for MCD election
New Delhi, April 3 (UNI) The Central government offices in Delhi will not be closed on the day of election to Muncipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), scheduled to be held on April 5.
A
release
issued
by
the
Department
of
Personnel
and
Training
(DoPT)
said
here
today
that
"the
central
government
employees,
who
are
bona-fide
voters
and
desire
to
exercise
their
franchise,
may
be
offered
reasonable
facility,
subject
to
normal
exigencies
of
services,
either
by
coming
late
to
office
or
being
allowed
to
leave
office
early
or
a
short
absence
on
that
day
by
their
Ministries/Departments." UNI
