Mercury soars in parts of AP
Hyderabad, Apr 3 (UNI) Mercury rose in many places in the Rayalaseema and Telangana regions of Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours as dry weather continued over the state.
The highest maximum temperature of 43 deg C was recorded at Kadapa, the Weather Office said here today.
The maximum temperatures were above normal over entire Rayalaseema, at many places over Telangana and at one or two places over Coastal Andhra.
Mainly dry weather is likely to prevail over Coastal Andhra, Telangana and Rayalaseema in the next 48 hours.
The state capital will have mainly clear skies. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 40 deg C, the office added.
