ICICI to complete its 28 floor office building in 2008 : MD

Hyderabad, Apr 03 (UNI) ICICI Bank Managing Director K V Kamath today said the bank has taken up a major project in the 'Financial District' at Nanakramguda with the construction of 28 floor building at the cost of Rs 1500 crore.

The proposed 28-storied structure would be constructed over a 4.5 million square feet area which would provide direct employment to 25,000 people and indirect employment to nearly one lakh people, he said.

The construction would be completed by December 2008. Ground breaking ceremony was done in February 2007, he added.

Giving the project details to Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy at the Secretariat, Mr Kamath said the major project being taken up by the bank would be the centre for the bank's office operations in the Southern region, an official release said.
