HP launches officejet printers for small businesses

New Delhi, Apr 3: Hewlett-Packard (HP) today launched new range of inkjet-based single function printers for small businesses, available in a price range of Rs 6,000 to Rs 20,000.

The new printers, Officejet Pro L7000 and Pro K5000, also meant for personal usage deliver up to 30 per cent lower cost per page than laser printers with almost the same print speeds, professional high-volume laser-quality colour and mono output.

''The new HP Officejet Pro All-in-Ones and single function printers are HP's high-performance inkjet systems, allowing us to provide small business with new colour printing options,'' HP Country Marketing Manager (Business Imaging and Printing Products) Ashwini Aggarwal told reporters here.

The HP Officejet Pro L7000 series All-in-One and the HP Officejet pro K5000 series colour printer are based on the company's Scalable Printing technology that incorporates innovative advancements, including high capacity individual ink cartridges.

The Officejet Pro L7580 and L7380 have been priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively, whereas the HP Officejet Pro K5400 and K5300 are available at Rs 8,499 and Rs 6,499 respectively.

To market the products, the company will set up more outlets in 100 cities in the next few days.

It has 342 service and support centres across 155 cities at present to support the HP Officejet Pro series, and has 1,500 purchase points for cartridges including 900 HP original cartridge stores.
