Domestic raped, couple arrested

Rajkot, Apr 3 (UNI) A couple has been arrested for allegedly raping their teenage maid at their residence in Jamvadi village in Gondal taluka here.

According to the complaint, the accused, Mashri Mer raped the victim on the night of April 1 repeatedly. His wife and co-accused, Manisha, who abetted him in the crime, tied both the legs of the maid, police sources said.

The victim later informed her parents about the incident, who lodged a complaint.

The couple was arrested yesterday on the basis of the complaint, the sources added.
