CCS bags order worth Rs 1.45 crore

Chennai, Apr 3 (UNI) IT solution provider CCS Infotech Limited today announced it had bagged orders worth Rs 1.45 crore from various sectors.

A company release here said it had received orders worth Rs one crore from the various Chennai-based engineering colleges, Rs 38 lakh order from Airport Authority of India (AAI) and Rs seven lakh order from BSNL-Pondicherry.

Through these orders, CCS Infotech would supply Software, PCs, high-end servers, laptops and maintain them.

The release also quoted CCS Infotech Director H Ratna Kumar as saying, 'our domestic demand in the South Indian market is likely to gain tremendous momentum in 2007, which has been declared "year of broadband".

CCS Infotech Limited had recently received orders from BSNL-Salem, Trivandrum, Trishur, Kannur, Mangalore, Cuddalore, University of Kochi and various Engineering Colleges and Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC), he added.

CCS Infotech Limited surpassed turnover of Rs 59.27 crore for the financial year ending March 2006, up 73 per cent compared to the last financial year, he added.
