Call 1912 for redressal of DHBVN grievances

Hisar, Apr 3 (UNI) The Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has decided to provide one single interface telephone number in each district for early redressal of grievances of its customers.

A spokesman of DHBVN today said here that all urban as well as rural consumers of a district may call the Nigam at Telephone No 1912.

On receiving a call from a consumer on this telephone, the computer would generate a receipt of the call. The Nigam would arrange to deliver the receipt of the concerned consumer next day informing him about the date up to which his grievance would be redressed.

He said that the Bijli Suvidha Kendras (BSK) would provide 24 hours service and the facility of getting the complaints lodged with BSK would now be available to all rural as well as urban consumers.

A software, that would be able to record seniority No, Name of complainant, father's name, address, contact No, type of complaint, convenient time of visiting, remarks, and that would also automatically apply Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission's time frame for each complaint for the aid of consumers and Nigam's officials, is being developed by the Nigam, he said.
