Hyderabad, Apr 3 (UNI) Expressing solidarity with the statewide bandh call given by Backward Classes (BCs) Welfare Association tomorrow in protest against the Supreme Court's stay on 27 per cent reservation for OBCs in central educational institutions, Andhra Pradesh Rural Development and BC Welfare Minister D Srinivas today said bus services would be suspended and public exams postponed.

Speaking to newspersons here, Mr Srinivas said the government would support the bandh call given by the BC unions. The services of the state-owned Road Transport Corporation (RTC) buses would be suspended and tenth standard public exams and Post Graduation exams also would be postponed.

Stating that the government was also striving towards providing reservation to the OBCs in the higher educational institutions at its level, the Minister said the success of the bandh would also depend on the participation of all political parties.

Meanwhile, all political parties, including opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS), had already supported the bandh call.
