50 pc DA to be merged with salary in MP
Bhopal, Apr 3 (UNI) Fulfilling a long-standing demand of different government employees' organisations, the Madhya Pradesh government today decided to merge 50 per cent dearness allowance with the basic salary.
The decision, taken at a Cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here, would also benefit pensioners.
Chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of commissions would henceforth be on the same payscale as heads of corporations and boards, sources said.
As many as 3,409 new posts in medical colleges would be filled as per Medical Council of India standards. The meeting ayed a new medicine purchase policy for government hospitals. The Bundelkhand Development Authority's formation was given the green signal. Four hundred acres would be provided for expanding the local airport and providing it international status.
