Vishwamitra awardee rapes minor

Jabalpur, Apr 2 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Wushu Association Secretary and the state government's 2006 Vishwamitra Award recipient Manoj Gupta was arrested while raping his 14-year-old student today in a car at a public place here, the police said.

An unidentified caller informed the Lordgunj Police Station that a youth was indulging in obscenity with an adolescent near Gol Bazaar's Gangotri Apartments.

When a police team opened the car door, naked coach Gupta was found in a compromising position. Interrogation revealed that the girl was his student for the past three to four years. During that period, Gupta pressurised her into a sexual relationship. The accused took the girl to the spot after she appeared for her tenth-standard exam.
