Two killed, 3 injured in separate road accidents
Akola, April 2 (UNI) Two person were killed and three others injured in three separate road accidents here in the past 24 hours.
In the first incident, two persons riding a motor-bike died after being hit by a speeding truck near Sindhi Camp Chaulk area late last night, police here today said.
The deceased Pavan Abhimanyu Mishra and Balu Wakode succumbed to their injuries on way to the civil hospital. The truck driver has been arrested, sources said.
In another incident, a father-son duo identified as Rajaram Bugaji Khole (65) and Satish (20), residing at Kavardari village in Washim district were injured when they were hit by a speeding Tata Sumo at Paturghat, about 25 km from here yesterday.
And in the third incident, 25-year-old Vikram Yogi was injured after the cycle he was riding was hit by a vehicle near Paturghad, sources added.
