Traffic control room, Radio Mirchi to tie up

Ahmedabad, Apr 2 (UNI) In order to give a round-the-clock traffic information to the citizens, Ahmedabad's only FM radio station Radio Mirchi will have a direct telephone connection with the city traffic control room.

Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic) Manoj Agrawal said ''The service provided by Radio Mirchi will help build the bridge between the traffic department and people.'' Radio Mirchi Gujarat station director and vice-president Shrinivar Shinoy said ''Radio Mirchi in coordination with the traffic control room will strive to improve the status of traffic in the city.''
