Three die in fire near Tis Hazari, two injured

New Delhi, Apr 2 (UNI) Three persons died and two others were injured in a fire that broke out in a market near the Tis Hazari court complex early this morning.

Twenty seven-year-old Rafiq, 15-year old Pradeep and 24-year-old Baljit died in the fire, which broke out at a shop of Chandra Tours and Travels in Rajendra Market behind Tis Hazari, fire brigade officers said. All the three were workers at the shop.

Four fire tenders were rushed to put out the fire, which was extinguished at 0300 hrs.

Two persons, including the owner Parvesh Mittal and a worker Maniram, were injured in the fire and have been admitted to the Aruna Asaf Ali hospital, the officers said.
