Thackeray urges people not to call on him without appointment

Mumbai, Apr 02 (UNI) Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray today urged the people not to call on him at Matoshri, Bandra without prior appointment.

In a statement appeared in Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamna, Mr Thackeray, who had turned 81 on January 23, said 'nowadays I meet very few people since I don't have that much strength'.

He said since people come to meet without appointment; the schedule of the other meetings get changed.

He further said Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray also has his 'fixed programes' and he is available in the Shiv Sena Bhavan where he regularly meet the people.

Mr Thackeray said people get disappointed when even after coming to Matoshri, neither Sena Chief nor Executive President meet them.

It may be mentioned that recently Sena MP from Ramtek Subodh Mohite got angry and resigned from the party as well as from the Parliament as he said he was not given time for a meeting at Matoshri, the residence of Sena Chief at Bandra.
