Teacher arrested for possessing fake currency
Mumbai, Apr 2 (UNI) A UP-based teacher has been arrested for possessing fake currency worth Rs 7,000 from Ghatkopar here.
Police yesterday arrested Imran Chand Mohammed Khan (32), a teacher at a Pahadpur school in Uttar Pradesh, after the shopkeeper, whom he gave a Rs 1,000 note, got suspicious and alerted the cops, sources said here today.
During search, notes of Rs 1,000 denomination totalling Rs 7,000 were found from the possession of the accused.
