Sri Lanka says civilian bus blast kills 14
Colombo, Apr 2: A suspected Tamil Tiger bomb hit a civilian bus in Sri Lanka's east today near an army camp, killing 14 people, a forces official said.
However they said it was unclear whether the bus was hit by a roadside bomb or whether a bomb detonated inside the bus in the eastern district of Ampara.
''There are 14 dead bodies. They are all civilians,'' said an officer of the elite police commando Special Task Force by telephone from Ampara.
