SP memo to MP Govr over externment

Bhopal, Apr 2 (UNI) The Samajwadi Party's Madhya Pradesh unit today submitted a memorandum to Governor Balram Jakhar demanding a halt to externment of SP workers allegedly due to the Bharatiya Janata Party regime's vendetta.

''Betul District Spokesman Anil Soni, Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha General Secretary Manoj Agrawal alias Nachu and Mr Milind Khatarkar are the victims of such a conspiracy. It is ironical that the government has issued show-cause notices to the trio over civil cases registered during political agitation,'' SP Secretary and MLA Sunilam alleged in a statement issued here.

Pointing out that the office-bearers were to be externed for a year from nine districts including Betul, he added that SP MP Janeshwar Mishra even wrote to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan urging him to halt the measures.
