Sasken rechristens Finnish subsi
New Delhi, Apr 2 (UNI) Sasken Communication Technologies Ltd, a leading player in communication software solutions has changed the name of its Finnish subsidiary, Botnia Hightech Oy to Sasken Finland Oy.
Sasken had completed the process of acquiring Botnia Hightech Oy on August 31 last year and since September 1, 2006 the alignment has been progressing as per plan, a company statement said today.
Sasken Finland includes subsidiaries Botnia Hardware Oy and Ionific Oy, which are being merged with the parent group.
''The alignment enables both parties to exploit synergies, helping extend offering portfolio and customer base. Synergies would also result from brand integration,'' company's Chairman and CEO Rajiv Mody said.
Sasken Finland with a presence in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Germany supplies hardware, software, mechanical design and testing services to leading mobile handset vendors in Europe.
It also offers tailor-made turnkey solutions.
