Rigorous imprisonment to three in connection with smuggling

Patna, Apr 2(UNI) Additional District and Sessions judge Vijendra Kumar Srivastav today awarded rigorous imprisonment, varying from seven to ten years, to three people, accused of smuggling smack.

The court also slapped a fine of Rs one lakh each to the two accused along with ten years rigorous imprisonment while the another accused had been awarded with seven years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs fifty thousand.

The accused were arrested along with 2.5 kg smack from Azadnagar locality of Kankarbagh police station area on September 28, 2002.
