RBI Technical Advisory Committe reconstituted
Mumbai, Apr 2 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today reconstituted the technical advisory committee on Monetary Policy with RBI Governor Y V Reddy as the chairman of the new body.
The committee is entitled to review the macroeconomic and monetory developments by obtaining expert opinion in issues like Central Banking, financial markets, public finance and monetary economics, a RBI release issued here today said.
The tenure of the new committee will be for two years. RBI had constituted the Committee on July eight, 2005, the release added.
