Protest against killing of 5 Hindus in Rajouri
New Delhi, Apr 2 (UNI) 'Roots in Kashmir', an organisation of Kashmiri Hindu Youth today condemned the attack on members of minority community in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir and termed it an inhuman act carried out by ''mindless people''.
''It is strange while militants are targeting Hindu minorities in the state, the government is talking about demilitarization. It is a shame on the secular credentials of the nation that the Hindu community in the state is being used like cannon fodder for the peace process,'' a statement said here today.
Members of the organisation also organised a protest rally at the historic Jantar Mantar here yesterday to protest against the killings.
More than 7,00,000 Kashmiri Hindus had to leave their homes in the Kashmir valley and even after 16 years of mass exodus, more than 50,000 of Kashmiri Pandit refugees were living in various refugee camps, it added.
