Ferozabad, Apr 2 (UNI) Joining the country's burning SEZ issue, BJP vice-president and party's chief minister nominee Kalyan Singh today announced if his party formed the next government, no multinational company would be able to acquire fertile land without the farmers' consent in the state.

Addressing an election meeting in run up to the state poll here, Mr Singh asserted a terror-free society could only be established by BJP.

On returning to power, the former UP CM promised to provide better governance and law and order machinery.

''Farmers would be provided with adequate power, water and fertiliser,'' he assured.

Mr Singh, however, warned that some political parties were announcing special packages for the sake of minority appeasement.

Claiming himself as non-controversial, the senior BJP leader maintained that CM and Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and BSP chief Mayawati were already in the CBI dragnet.
