Librarians observe fast

Puducherry, Apr 2 (UNI) Members of the Librarians Association today observed a fast in front of the Directorate of Art and Culture here to press their demands.

They were demanding among other things the filling up of vacant posts, promotions to librarians who had put in 12 to 24 years service and hike in wages.
