LANCO wins construction projects in TN, Karnataka

Chennai, Apr 2 (UNI) LANCO Infratech Ltd (LITL) has won the bid for three construction projects in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

The three projects are cumulatively valued at Rs 102 crore, a company release here said today.

With these three projects, the order book of LANCO's construction and EPC division now stands at more than Rs 5,000 crore.

The projects were a Rs 55 crore order for upgradation of primary health centres to community health centres and taluk-level hospitals in Karnataka.

The project was being executed for the Karnataka Health Systems Development and Reforms Project, Government of Karnataka, Bangalore.

The company secured a Rs 41 crore construction project from the Government Medical College, Belgaum, Karnataka.

The project was being executed for PWD, Government of Karnataka.

The Chennai Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board had awarded LANCO, a contract worth Rs 6 Crore for supplying and laying of 600 mm diameter water pipes, in Chennai.

At present, the power portfolio had an operating capacity of 518 MW and additional capacities accumulating to more than 2,200 MW were under construction.
