Janmorcha manifesto on Apr 10

Lucknow, Apr 2 (UNI) Janmorcha, the political outfit floated by former prime minister Vishwanath Pratap Singh, will release its election manifesto for the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls on April 10.

''The election manifesto of the party will be released by Mr Singh himself from three places-- Lucknow, Varanasi and Gorakhpur-- on the same day'', said state party president Vinod Kumar Singh here.

Releasing the party publicity material containing two audio CDs and posters, Mr Singh said the thrust of the Janmorcha manifesto will be on farmers, youths and common man.

Janmorcha, in alliance with the United Democratic Front (UDF)and CPI, is expected to contest around 150 assembly seats with focus on 6 seats in each of the seven phase poll. The party had already announced the candidature in 111 assembly segments.

The state party president said they are collecting contribution of Re 1 from the farmers to spearhead the campaign in the assembly polls.
