ISI agent remanded in judicial custody

Hyderabad, Apr 2 (UNI) Suspected ISI agent Maqbool Ahmed, who was arrested yesterday, was today remanded in judicial custody till April 16.

Police said Maqbool (26) was arrested at a bus stop in the Rajbhavan road and handed over to the Special Investigation Team (SIT). The SIT charged him with inciting youth towards terrorism by preaching religious fundamentalism and produced him in the Nampalli court.

Maqbool was subsequently shifted to the high security Charlapalli jail, police added.
