Hyundai launches Getz variants, diesel version coming soon

New Delhi, Apr 2 (UNI) Strengthening its small car line-up, Hyundai today launched new variants of its Getz Prime model priced between Rs 3.89 lakh and Rs 5.24 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

''We are now working on the diesel version of Prime and may launch it in the second half of this year,'' Hyundai President H S Leem told reporters here.

By the end of this year, the company targets to export 40,000 units of this car to Europe and 30,000 units for the domestic market, he said at the launch.

The company's 1.1 litre engine capacity cars will be priced at Rs 3.89 lakh (GLE) and Rs 4.21 lakh (GDS).

While the other two variants GDX and GLS will be available at Rs 4.89 lakh and Rs 5.24 lakh respectively and come with a 1.3 litre engine.
