GE Shipping delivers Suezmax crude carrier
New Delhi, Apr 2 (UNI) GE Shipping today said it has delivered its Suezmax crude carrier to the buyers.
The 1992 built, 1,45,242-dwt ship -- Jag Laadki -- was contracted to be sold in February 2007.
With the delivery of the carrier, the company's fleet of 44 vessels comprises 33 tankers (13 crude oil carriers, 18 product carriers, and two LPG carriers) and 11 drybulk carriers (one capesize, two panamax, five handymax and three handysize) with an average age of 12.4 years aggregating 3.12 million dwt.
The company's current new building order book comprises six product tankers (two Medium Range and four LR1 Product tankers aggregating 0.38 million dwt).
