FB demands UPA government's apology for "disrespect" to Netaji

Kolkata, Apr 2 (UNI) The Forward Bloc today demanded that the Centre apologise for showing ''disrespect'' to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

'' The Congress-led United Progressive Alliance(UPA) government has been continuously disrespecting Netaji and it has exceeded all limits, '' AIFB general secretary Ashoke Ghosh said in a statement here.

He said the Central government had recently said it had no evidence that Netaji did at all play any role during the freedom movement, which was not only condemnable but was also tantamount to showing ''disrespect'' to the great leader.

Later, a six-member delegation submitted a memorandum to Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi in this regard.
