Eight IAS, 30 PCS officers transferred in Punjab

Chandigarh, Apr 2 (UNI) Continuing with its exercise to revamp the administration in Punjab, the SAD-BJP alliance government today ordered transfer and posting of eight Indian Administrative officers and 30 Punjab Civil Service officers with immediate effect.

Mr Karam Singh, Executive Director, Punjab Scheduled Caste and Land Development Corporation, will be the new Deputy commissioner of Tarn Taran, replacing Mr Jaspal Singh who has been posted as Special Secretary, Higher Education and Languages against a vacant post.

Ms Bhawna Garg, A.D.C., Roopnagar, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Nawanshahr, vice Mr Krishan Kumar who has been sent as Chief Administrator, Greater Mohali Development Authority against a vacant post.

Mr Ajeet Singh Pannu, Director, Lotteries, Punjab, and ex-officio-Additional Secretary, Finance, will take over as the new Deputy Commissioner of Jalandhar, a post lying vacant.

Mrs. Manisha Trighatia, A.C.A., PUDA, Jalandhar, has been posted as A.D.C., Jalandhar vice Mr Sukhwinder Pal Singh, PCS.

Mr Rajat Agarwal, S.D.M., Tarn Taran, has been transferred and posted as A.D.C., Muktsar vice Mr Narinder Singh Bath, PCS.

Mr Varun Roojam, S.D.M., Khadoor Sahib, will be the as S.D.M., Malout vice Mr Jaspal Singh, PCS.
