British Under Secy of Defence visits HQ Central Command

Lucknow, Apr 2 (UNI) UK's Permanent Under Secretary of Defence, Bill Jeffery was on a day long visit at Headquarters, Central Command (HQCC) here today.

Besides, Mr Jeffery, the British delegation comprised Maj Gen Andrew Steward, Mr Jeremy Jarvis, Brig Clive Eggertion and Mr Nicholas Rees.

On arrival at HQCC the delegation was received by Central Command's Major General General Staff (MGGS) Maj Gen J S Sidhu and Deputy Military Secretary (DyMS) Brig Manvendra Singh.

The delegation called on General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) Lt Gen O P Nandrajog.

During the course of their interaction with the army commander, several key issues of mutual military interest were discussed at length.

Earlier, on arrival at Lucknow Cantonment, the delegation visited the Army Medical Corps (AMC) Centre&School, followed by a visit to xi Gorkha Rifles Regiment Centre (xiGRRC).
