Arun Balakrishnan takes over as HPCL CMD

New Delhi, Apr 2 (UNI) Mr Arun Balakrishnan has taken over as the Chairman and Managing Director of state-owned Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) following incumbent M B Lal's retirement on March 31.

He has been working in the company as Director in charge of human resources, a company statement said.

An MBA from IIM-Bangalore, Mr Balakrishnan started his career in HPCL three decades back and handled various portfolios in marketing, corporate and HR of the oil major.
